CATCHING FIRE | THE INTERVIEW WITH CAESAR FLICKERMAN
The whole scene was made special when the tributes expressed their unity..
It also made me laugh, when Peeta announced the “pregnancy” of Katniss.
but When I was reading this… I cant help my tears from falling :

By the time I’m introduced, the audience is an absolute wreck. People have been weeping and collapsing and even calling for change. The sight of me in my white silk bridal gown practically causes a riot. No more me, no more star-crossed lovers living happily ever after, no more wedding. I can see even Caesar’s professionalism showing some cracks as he tries to quiet them so I can speak, but my three minutes are ticking quickly away.
Finally there’s a lull and he gets out, “So, Katniss, obviously this is a very emotional night for everyone. Is there anything you’d like to say?”
My voice trembles as I speak. “Only that I’m so sorry you won’t get to be at my wedding
… but I’m glad you at least get to see me in my dress. Isn’t it just … the most beautiful thing?” I don’t have to look at Cinna for a signal. I know this is the right time. I begin to twirl slowly, raising the sleeves of my heavy gown above my head.
When I hear the screams of the crowd, I think it’s because I must look stunning. Then I notice something is rising up around me. Smoke. From fire. Not the flickery stuff I wore last year in the chariot, but something much more real that devours my dress. I begin to panic as the smoke thickens. Charred bits of black silk swirl into the air, and pearls clatter to the stage. Somehow I’m afraid to stop because my flesh doesn’t seem to be burning and I know Cinna must be behind whatever is happening. So I keep spinning and spinning. For a split second I’m gasping, completely engulfed in the strange flames. Then all at once, the fire is gone. I slowly come to a stop, wondering if I’m naked and why Cinna has arranged to burn away my wedding dress.
But I’m not naked. I’m in a dress of the exact design of my wedding dress, only it’s the color of coal and made of tiny feathers. Wonderingly, I lift my long, flowing sleeves into the air, and that’s when I see myself on the television screen. Clothed in black except for the white patches on my sleeves. Or should I say my wings.
Because Cinna has turned me into a mockingjay.

I have many reason’s why i cried when i read this. I know this was the biggest risk Cinna made… That eventually cause his death.
But, what really made me cry is the feeling of “HOPELESSNESS”. Its like the scene was saying that there is no chance for Katniss and the other victors to be happy.. to be free, to be out of the game…..
THE WHITE BRIDAL DRESS WAS SET ON FIRE BUT TURNED OUT TO BE A COAL COLORED MOCKINGJAY….
The Capitol let her have a glimpse of light but eventually snatch it from her and thrown her into the darkness of the HUNGER GAMES….

The scene where Finnick forgot to wear pants! XDD
Boggs shows up to escort me down to the Airborne Division. Just as the elevator arrives, Finnick appears in a state of agitation. “Katniss, they wont let me go! I told them Im fine, but they wont even let me ride in the hovercraft!”
I take in Finnick, his bare legs showing between his hospital gown and slippers, his tangle of hair, the half-knotted rope twisted around his fingers, the wild look in his eyes and know any plea on my part will be useless. Even I dont think its a good idea to bring him. So I smack my hand on my forehead and say, “Oh, I forgot. Its this stupid concussion. I was supposed to tell you to report to Beetee in Special Weaponry. Hes designed a new trident for you.”
At the word trident, it’s as if the old Finnick surfaces. “Really? What’s it do?”
“I dont know. But if it’s anything like my bow and arrows, youre going to love it,I say. You’ll need to train with it,though.”
“Right. Of course. I guess I better get down there,”he says.
“Finnick?” I say. “Maybe some pants?”

CATCHING FIRE’s 75th Hunger games and 3rd Quarter Quell
Srsly. Who wouldn’t be amazed by the 75th Hunger games or 3rd Quarter Quell’s twists specially its “clock arena”!
Every fight/battle that happened in there were my favorites.
Certainly the best idea Suzanne Collins ever had!
Coming up with a clock arena, a perfect circle divided into twelve sections. Every hour, a certain disaster of sorts occurs in one of the designated areas.

President Coriolanus Snow
76 | President of Panem
As the ruler of Panem, President Snow is known for his ruthless actions.
Finnick revealed that Snow attained his position because of his wicked act of poisoning his rivals.
He created the Hunger Games as a punishment for the last uprising of the districts.
Even though he’s the main antagonist of the story, the way he controlled and created the system of living in Panem is exceptional.
I don’t really love his character but I admire his intelligence. His ways of manipulation and the idea of his “games”.
The story wouldn’t be this good without him. right?
“Oh, my dear Miss Everdeen. I thought we had agreed not to lie to each other.”
